GOV. ESPINO TO RECEIVE NAT’L AWARD FROM BANGKO SENTRAL

LINGAYEN—Fresh with his new mandate, Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr. is set to receive another national  award for the province as the Most Outstanding Local Government Unit in the implementation of the Credit Support Fund (CSF). Together with the provincial officials province, Gov. Espino will be conferred the award by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) on July 16 at the BSP Assembly Hall at the BSP Complex in Manila. This was announced by Provincial Administrator Rafael Baraan during the flag-raising ceremony held on July 8 who said that the ultimate measure of success in all our undertakings is we are able to translate the provincial vision of Pangasinan as a best place to invest, work, live and raise a family at the household level. He said “for every household in Pangasinan, every household head is able to support his family” which is the intention of the CSF. Further, Baraan noted that the CSF aims to enable our household heads to have a viable livelihood activity to support their families. As Gov. Espino said in his inaugural address, Pangasinan has slowly, but steadily moved forward from being a non-entity to become “a consistent top performer in local governance” not to mention the various top awards Pangasinan has to its distinction. The BSP Governor and Chairman of the Monetary Board Amando M. Tetangco, Jr. will lead the awarding of trophies to the awardees with the Chairman of the Board of Judges, Armando L. Suratos. Meanwhile, BSP Deputy Governor Diwa Guinigundo said that the 2013 awards ceremony for BSP Stakeholders is held annually in recognition of institutions that have extended exemplary support to the BSP’s statistical undertakings, information needs and advocacy programs. Social media teams undergo training about live blogging. Live blogging is a web –based plugin used to support blogs that are doing live micro blogging of running events, such as major sport events.
